Deimos wishes all a very Happy New Year 2008 and proceeds to somewhat summarizes what he has done in the year 2007 since the setting up of this WordPress powered domain.

Deimos wishes all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008! 
Pilot
Initially, ahkong.net started off as a personal blog where Deimos stash his diary thingies online, soon it began to mold itself into a somewhat niche blog which has more focus on PC Gaming.
Personal
The first post created was Accounts for October 2007 which is an attempt to record Deimos’s daily spendings, to which he realized that it was kinda tedious to keep track of it everyday so he discarded the thought of continuing this habit.
Personal – Summarized Journals
Soon, Deimos was pretty fed up with writing lengthy stories each so he proceeds to write summarized journal entries each day starting on 17 November and discovered that he is able to churn out daily summarized journal entries.
Why Deimos writes such summarized journal entries when he could be focusing more time on content that the masses would actually be more bothered to read? Well, first of all, friends of his might be interested in knowing what he has been up to recently.
Second, Deimos writes the summarized journal a day or two (2) after the actual day. So for example he only writes about what happened on Monday in Tuesday, Wednesday or even later. This way, he has to think back about what has happened earlier.
Deimos believes that by doing so, by actively thinking back recent past events, one is able to exercise one’s memory. It is said that folks remember less and less of what happened recently, a sign of old age, they say.
Products and Services
As Deimos intends to use his domain as an online advertising platform to market his products and services in the physical realm, he published his first product – Apartmen Impian on 21 November 2007, followed by the rest – Steel Factory in Ipoh, totally new iPhones priced at RM 2,700.00, an Office Space to let at Jalan Ipoh and finally a shop front which provides nutritional shakes to those who wishes to gain weight, slim down or improve their skin problems.
PC Gaming – Hellgate : London & Guild Wars
Personal posts continued until 7 November 2007 until he published the first gaming related article titled Hellgate : London vs Guild Wars which is currently still the most viewed page for the time being.
PC Gaming – Guild Wars
Not too long after that, the first Guild Wars Random Arenas PvP builds discussion article, the Warrior / Paragon – Symbolic Axer was published.
PC Gaming – Walk through – Portal: The Flash Version
After monitoring the search engine traffic sources, Deimos realizes that there is a demand for a help guide for the Macromedia Flash powered puzzle game – Portal: The Flash Version.
With that in mind, he set off on the project – Portal: The Flash Version Guide which kicked off its first (1st) level in 10 December 2007 and finally concluded the final level in 25 December 2007, spanning two (2) weeks to complete this project thingie.
The effort is well worth the time spent and Deimos is very satisfied with the results.
Babes – Maza Koizumi
Random Arenas PvP Builds for Guild Wars continued to be fabricated, rolled out until one day Deimos came across Danny Choo’s domain and found something that almost burst the blood vessels in his nose. Without wasting further time, he proceeded to share what he found with those who visit his domain.
Blogging – Monetize
Having being a new blogger in the Blogsphere for more than two (2) months, Deimos is aware of the existence of two (2) local Blog Advertising companies which goes by the name Nuffnang and Adverlets. One day, he finds it quite amusing when a new Blog Advertising company uses a name which is a combination of Nuffnang and Adverlets – Nufflets.
Blogging – Trafficize
As the year 2007 almost comes to an end, Deimos chanced upon a totally new and innovative thingie in the Cyberspace – Entrecard. He heard about it earlier but did not sign up then, oh how he wished that he have signed up earlier and become an Entrecarder.
Though a bit late in becoming an Entrecarder, he catches up rather quickly and wrote a tutorial on how to exploit the Alexa Ranking by using Entrecard and received a reasonable amount of feedback from fellow Bloggers alike.
WordPress – Updates
Two (2) days before the end of year 2007, Deimos noticed that there is a new update for WordPress. He decided to compile the list of files that were modified for this update, repackaged them and then uploaded it to his domain to allow fellow WordPress Bloggers have a hassle free WordPress version updating experience.
Deimos is happy with the feedback from the fellow Bloggers and is most glad to find out that fellow Bloggers benefited from this file repacking thingie.
Happy New Year 2008 in the Blogsphere
Childhood classmate Louise posted up a thorough summary of her year 2007.
Pretty KL Blogger Vickie shared her screenies and wishes everyone a Happy New Year 2008!
King of Anime Screenies Kenny LJS shared his thoughts and anime screenies since moving from blogspot into his own domain powered by WordPress.
Young Blogging Guide Guru Mentor Wayne Liew looked back at what he did in Year 2007 and shared with us his blogperience from starting out as a personal blog to becoming a Niche Blog which focuses on Blogging Guides.
Ipoh Penang Blogger yung . briefly summed up his year and stated that he probably won’t be doing any new year resolutions thingie.
Deimos’s Thoughts
It has been a pretty blogciting experience for me since I plunged myself into this Blogging thingie. Met up with some interesting folks along the way too.
Deimos’s Blog Resolution for Year 2008
To achieve recognition in Cyberspace. Statistically in terms of Alexa Traffic Ranking, I would like to hit top hundred thousand (100,000) by 31 March 2008. To go even further, would like to see if it is possible for me to hit top ten thousand (10,000) by 31 December 2008.

Ah Deimos!! I am not an ipoh blogger, it just happened that I am in Ipoh for my training for 14 weeks. Fyi, I am from Penang (that’s why u see lotsa penang food post), and I am studying in MMU (melaka) for my final year.

About AhKong.net, it has been bookmarked by me because of the simple write ups about events and to be honest, your blog tells me some info like the launch of local advertising companies first before I read it on other blogs.
Games guides is one thing I skip on your blog but it is fine with me since the contents should be here if it is a traffic puller.

Ah, I believe that the admin is able to use img src tag by default, while guests cannot? 🙂
I have tried using the img src tag in comments twice on my domain and it works. First time is replying to your comment, the Star Bucks Green Tea Latte. Second time is replying to TOLANIC @ POYOZOR’s question about updating WordPress 2.3.1 to 2.3.2
