Morningstar Walkthrough
1. Approach the pair of Cargo Containers.
2. Get Wrench lying on top of the Cargo Container on the left side.
3. Get doll from the Cargo Container on the right side.
4. Fix the Control Panel with the Wrench.
5. Go inside the Cockpit.

Morningstar Walkthrough
1.Approach Captain Novak and get briefed by him.
2. Get Screwdriver after he finished talking.
3. Go back to the Corridor.

1. Go to the right side of the Corridor, power up the Control Panel with the Doll.
2. Go inside the Engine Room.

6. Fix the Power Conduit Panel with the Wrench.
7. Go back to the Corridor, go back inside the Cockpit.

1. Approach the Fancy Screens.
2. Turn on the Computer.
3. Turn off the Ventilator.
4. Go back to Corridor, climb up the ladder into the Medical Room.

1. Approach the Desk, get Glass Container on the Desk.
2. Get the Carbon Filter from inside the Ventilator.
3. Activate the Hybernation Control.
4. Leave the Desk, Approach the Panel and First Aid Box.
5. Open the First Aid Box, get Syringe lying inside.
6. Unscrew the Service Panel with the Screwdriver.
7. Extract the Steel Pipe with the Wrench.
8. Get the Insulation foil after getting the Steel Pipe.
9. Go back to the Corridor, climb down ladder into the Cargo Bay.

1. Fill up the Syringe with Nanoglue via the Industrial Nanoglue.

    Seriously, where the hell is the generator code? I figured out turning the gravity on and off (the code is given to you at the bottom of the algae tank, all you have to do is add the two symbols for ‘on’ and ‘off’ that you can see on all the storage tanks), although it just tells you not to do that until you’ve siphoned power from it first, but where the flying dick is the generator/panel code written? I’ve been looking all over the place and couldn’t find it. I am, suffice to say, a bit miffed, and didn’t feel like trying 8^3 different codes randomly to find it.

    the code for “human” is in the starchart that looks like the solar system.
    the other code is in one of the other alien starcharts.
    the code for “power” is on the power cable next to the generator consul.
    the code for “gravity” is in the alien hibernation chamber.
    the code for “on” is above an activated hibernation chamber.
    the code for “off” is above a deactivated hibernation chamber.

    so its just power+on/off or gravity+on/off.

    that was all i was looking for. should have been included in walkthrough. it’s no fun otherwise!

    The container codes were straightforward. Each container had the planet’s code from the Starmap.

    But how is one supposed to deduce the generator on/off codes? Yes, the cable has a 3-character code. But then, to produce the 5-character code, you need to know to test every 1- and 2-character suffix to that code? That’s 72 tries. Trial and error will on average take you 36 tries.

    OK, but the gravity code with its 32K possibilities? [Well, before posting this, i read @sparks comment above says there were apparently markings for “gravity”, “on”, “off” in the scenes. thanks, sparks.] The walkthrough would be helped by noting where these codes are.

    Oh, and using the buddha to twist the metal into a crowbar? That was nonsensical.

    (For me, the intro and outro movies didn’t play either: just a totally black screen, like a Spinal Tap album.)

    Wow. This game is great in many ways but insanely frustrating in others. Some of the puzzle solutions are logical and some are not (attach steel rod to buddha statue = crowbar?).
    I enjoyed the atmosphere, the dialogue, the graphics, etc., but about half the puzzles’ solutions were too obscure to make the play totally enjoyable.
    If you gave me twenty years on a desert island with nothing to do but play this, I still wouldn’t have completed it. Without a lot of help from walkthroughs, I’d have never seen the ending.
    My ideal version of a game like this is one where the player would never need trial and error for any puzzle, provided he found all the clues available in the game. As long as the player had every clue, every puzzle could be solved on the very first try.
