Entrecarder

Overview
Deimos attempts to asks fellow bloggers if they are already an Entrecarder.
A somewhat detailed Who, What, Where, When, Why analysis of Entrecards.

Who are Entrecarders?
Them mostly be fellow Bloggers who signed up for Entrecard, and installed an Entrecard Widget on their blogs.

What is an Entrecard?
Try to think of it as a business card thingie aye? Say a business card for Bloggers.

Physical Realm:
Folks have business cards when they meet up with others and they exchange business cards. People only visit one another when they have business to conduct, so they visit each others’ offices. Their address are printed on the respective business cards, right?

Cyberspace:
Entrecards are something like business cards for Bloggers. I label such folks as Entrecarders. All Entrecarders are rewarded for visiting fellow Entrecarders’ sites which displays the Entrecard Widget. Do feel free to take a read at this tutorial which teaches one how to exploit the Alexa Ranking using Entrecard if one would like to know how the system works.

Where to place the Entrecard Widgets?
Do fellow Entrecarders a favor and place the Entrecard Widget at the top most section of one’s site / blog etc. This way, fellow Entrecarders would not be frustrated in attempting to locate one’s Entrecard buried deep within one’s site / blog etc.

Hence, folks may actually be interested in coming back to drop Entrecards the following day. Plus, other fellow Entrecarders might be more interested in advertising their Entrecards on an Entrecard Widget which is easily viewable, locatable and definitely not totally buried within some dark corner.

(Note: One can only drop one Entrecard in another Entrecarder’s Entrecard Inbox per day, up to a maximum of 300 Entrecards can be dropped into other Entrecarders’ Inbox per day.)

When is the right time for one to become an Entrecarder?
The soonest possible, I say! Why miss out in the traffic love? Jump the Entrecard bandwagon now and start Entrecarding!

Why should I become an Entrecarder?
Could one say no to free traffic? If one is not interested in the idea of having free flow of traffic (even though the initial waves of traffic are probably crap traffics, i.e. Entrecard clickers – Entrecarders who just browse through other fellow Entrecarders’ site just to find the Entrecard Widget, click on it and move on to the next Entrecarder’s site / blog etc.) to one’s site / blog etc, then one would not be interested in being an Entrecarder.

And besides, Pro Blogger – Darren Rowse is a fellow Entrecarder too! Check out his interview with the founder of Entrecard – Graham Langdon, quite an informative read.

Deimos’s Thoughts
If Entrecard is successful, I believe that in the future, we would very well be seeing an Entrecard Widget on every Blogger’s Blog.

I believe the founders of Entrecard somehow managed to pull off something that no other people have done before, something so innovative and brutally effective, that it will sweep through the Blogsphere like a massive tsunami (tidal wave) with a force so hard, that in the end every Blogger would end up being an Entrecarder?
