Following that day, a new riddle – The Coat Eater is unleashed upon the public! The mob of riddle guessers seems to have quiet down somewhat.

Thursday – Monday, 24 – 28 January 2008

Tuesday, 29 January 2008
After five (5) days of absence, the Geek Riddler is finally back, along with The Answer to the Coat Eater as well. No one got the correct answer for this riddle.

A new riddle – Frog Mastery was published and two (2) riddle guessers attempted it.

Deimos’s Daily Reads
Posts that caught my attention today and made me showcase them here below. Wanna get down there? Drop your EntreCard into my Inbox. Higher chance of showing up here if you comment sincerely on my articles too.

There seems to be a little heated debated going on in a Singaporean Blog – the mighty Turnip of Power vs the She-Frog with an attitude, who wins?

Criticisms, just how well can you take ’em? Katalina shared with us her thoughts about it.

Ever heard of a silent mouse? I only got to know about it after muratos blogged about it.

Is your WordPress powered blog safe enough from malicious hackers? Keith caught my attention with a catchy title – Can Somebody Drive a Truck Through The Back Door Of Your WordPress Blog? He suggested several methods to make our WordPress powered blogs more secure. Some good advice there.

Not an EntreCarder, only got to know about this web comic via Project Wonderful – Spiky-Haired Dragon, Worthless Knight is a story about a Knight and a cute dragon which I find it to be quite an amusing, certainly entertaining read and times. Worth a read if one likes web comics.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Personally, I feel that the Geek Riddler has found a niche of his own – Riddle Blogs and maybe it is that I have yet to see another blog which operates like the Geek Riddler – A riddle and an answer a day. The best part is that his riddles are so good, that it keep folks coming back for more! Plus, the riddles are also not that lengthy and some are quite short but it makes us think about it and return the other day to check out if we guessed correctly.

Keep up the good work yo!

    Yeah, it’s a really innovative concept for a site. I wonder where he gets all those riddles? I’d love to work on them everyday, but concentrating too hard each and every day just takes too much effort. Plus, when I get it wrong, it’s so publicly embarrassing.

    I accidentally saw the argument on the singaporean blog, I don’t know how but I had incoming link coming from that article. There’s an argument so I didn’t comment at all.

    @Wan Kong Yew: The riddles are original and many of them are impossible (unless you’re a mind reader πŸ˜€ ). The challenge for most of them isn’t to find the correct answer, but to come up with a creative / funny solution. Some of the solutions people come up with are quite ridiculous, and they know it, but they post them anyway, just for fun.

    My intention is to build a site where people post any solution they have for the riddles, and have a good laugh (or at least a smile) in the process. People who read the comments would smile (or laugh) too, and nobody should be embarassed.

    I hope to continue to see you around, and thank you, I’m taking what you said about concentrating as a compliment :mrgreen:

    Actually, I don’t. 24 hours a day is not enough. πŸ˜•

    =======================================================

    @Geek Riddler:
