The Chronicles of Staale The Viking Blogger
Overview
Find out more about Staale the Viking Blogger. Interested? Click to read more.

Introduction
This blog – VikingBlogger.Com was established on 16 January 2008, the date today is 13 February 2008 which means that the site was not even one month old, but its daily Alexa Traffic Ranking is already hovering around 70K-ish. Totally very Impressive, I am.

Wednesday, 16 January 2008
VikingBlogger.Com got established on this day, given its first blog entry is on that date, which briefly introduces the author of Viking Blogger and the goals for that site.

On that very same day, Staale published two (2) more blog entries, the first one explains what RSS is all about, also thrown in a YouTube video. The other one is where the thoughts of Staale before starting off with the site, one of them being “No Ads on the site” during the month of January 2008. A good move by Staale, I say. One of the most common newbie blogger mistakes is that a site has too many Ads, but little or no content at all. Thumbs up for Staale!

Thursday, 17 January 2008
Staale posted about Viking Blogger’s Goals for January 2008, which was achieved very quickly. A very powerful Blogger in the making?

Friday, 18 January 2008
An article about to sell or not to sell Text Link Ads was released today.

Saturday, 19 January 2008
There are no posts for 19 January 2008, but Staale made up for it by publish two (2) posts on 20 January 2008.

Sunday, 20 January 2008
Today’s article is some great tips for new bloggers and the Ten (10) WordPress plugins that Staale the Viking Blogger uses.

Monday, 21 January 2008
With the weekend gone, and Monday on the horizon, Staale published Viking Blogger’s stats for the first time on 21 January 2008. Also published on the same day are 5 tips for bloggers, which was originally guest posted on John Chow’s domain, replied by Darren on his own domain and then finally Viking Blogger chipped in his own thoughts on the subject.

Tuesday, 22 January 2008
Given that Staale published two (2) posts on 21 January 2008, there is no new posts on 22 January 2008. However, on the following day (23 January 2008) Staale published two (2) new articles again, I can’t quite seem to grasp the posting frequency of the Viking Blogger.

Wednesday, 23 January 2008
The first one is a short post about a contest run by WinningTheWeb.Com and the second one is a tutorial about Stripe Ads which I don’t fancy much at all.

Thursday, 24 January 2008
This Thursday, Staale posted quite a lengthy article about How to make money on ZIP-submits which I have yet to go through in whole yet, since it is rather lengthy and I am trying my best to finish this article so I can continue my work elsewhere. Yes, I am being honest here.

Friday, 25 January 2008
The Viking Blogger Staale made a good choice on this Friday, as this is the day that Staale the Viking Blogger EntreCardized VikingBlogger.Com and became an EntreCarder.

Saturday & Sunday, 26 & 27 January 2008
Something happened to Staale the Viking Blogger these two (2) days, find out below.

Monday, 28 January 2008
There are no new posts published on 26, 27 as The Viking Blogger was admitted into the Hospital to undergo a surgery to remove the Appendix. Oh this very same day, Staale also announced that private Ads is available for sale at the VikingBlogger.Com

Tuesday, 29 January 2008
The Viking Blogger’s first contest was launched on this day, of course this contest already ended, but there is a new one which is about to end very soon as well.

Wednesday, 30 January 2008
An advanced plugin for the WordPress script called OIOpublisher is introduced on VikingBlogger.Com, a handy tool for fellow Bloggers who wishes to sell private Ads on their blogs. Not sure if I would use this plugin anytime soon in the future, probably not too soon.

Thursday, 31 January 2008
Strangely, the last day of the month of January 2008 seems to be a very active day for Staale the Viking Blogger as he published three (3) articles in this day! The first one was about a bug with Feed Burner, next one is an update on the contest which kicked off on 29 January 2008 and finally a summary for the month of January 2008.

Friday, 1 February 2008
First day of February 2008, Staale The Viking Blogger shared with us the results of advertising on shoemoney’s site for a day and I believe that Staale is not very happy with it. On this same day, Staale also ranted a bit about Feed Burner while announcing the goals for the month of February 2008 plus mentioning a little bit of real life issues.

Saturday, 2 February 2008
A useful tool to basically memorize passwords, fill up forms (there are other functions, but Staale finds these 2 functions most useful) is reviewed on VikingBlogger.Com this day, after checking out what Staale wrote, I agree that it is useful for certain folks.

Sunday, 3 January 2008
Two (2) articles was published this Sunday, the first one being a stats update and the other one is 10 most sexy commercials, which is an attempt to get the Digg effect, more explained below.

Monday, 4 January 2008
Again, two (2) articles were fabricated, the first one talks about it is better to remain silent if one has nothing to say and the other one is a screenie which showcases The Viking Blogger’s blogging tools, and I am impressed! Two Flat Panel Monitors on the left hand side, and a notebook on the right! Whoah! Totally 1337 if you ask me!

Tuesday, 5 January 2008
Seems like Staale has taken up a liking to posting two (2) articles per day now, this day included. First one is an announcement of the winners for the first contest ran on VikingBlogger.Com while the second one is an article regarding the Digg Effect due to the 10 most sexy commercials article posted on 3 January 2008.

Wednesday, 6 February 2008
Yet another day with two (2) blog entries, the first one Staale wrote about receiving free goodies from Rocket Profit via Fed Ex and the second one is about Staale trying out Project Wonderful. I tried to sign up for Rocket Profit, can’t find Malaysia in the list of countries, so that means Ctrl-W for me. As for Project Wonderful, I am already a member.

Thursday, 7 February 2008
Today marks the first day the Viking Blogger reverted back to one post per day, which Staale blogged about TNX – a text link selling program. Personally, I would not associate myself with things that Big-G does not approve of. As of now, Big-G basically “owns” the Cyberspace.

Friday, 8 January 2008
Why do Staale hates Affiliate Links is the article for today, and methinks that Staale is rather vicious with the act of stripping the links to the bare. Totally not my style of doing things, to each their own though.

Saturday, 9 February 2008
Staale asked a question today – Do you display the whole article in the RSS Feed? To be frank, I don’t really bother much with the RSS Feed for this site of mine. Why? I slice all my articles with the [more] tag, which means unless I install a new WordPress plugin, all my RSS Feeds are automatically “not whole” when read in any RSS Reader or when delivered via email. Call me a greedy and selfish mofo, but I much prefer folks to actually visit my site. Yeah Deimos is a greedy! Selfish! Have one at me yo!

Sunday, 10 February 2008
The Viking Blogger sneaked in two (2) articles today, the first one is a stats updated – Stats Sunday! The Viking Blogger’s stats continue to grow impressively, yes I am still impressed! I certainly did not experience such a speedy growth for my site.

Ad Toll’s Peel Away Ads is introduced in the second one, and personally I find it to be a rather unique way to present Ads. Unique it might be, I am not particularly convinced that it is actually useful and use worthy though.

Monday, 11 February 2008
20,000 EntreCredits is Up for Grabs in this second contest run by Staale the Viking Blogger, to be honest, this is gotta be the contest which offers the largest amount of EntreCredits that I have seen to date. Oh yes, I entered myself in this contest.

Tuesday, 12 February 2008
The latest blog entry of the Viking Blogger showcases the results of using Project Wonderful, which I believe Staale is quite satisfied with.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Personally, I find that Staale the Viking Blogger experienced an extremely rapid growth for the site VikingBlogger.Com, within less than a month and already have a daily Alexa Traffic Ranking of 70k-ish.

Deimos Asks
This is such a lengthy report, I don’t even know if anyone would be interested in reading everything up. Just in case anyone does finish reading this article completely, let Deimos ask you a few questions:
1. What do you think about VikingBlogger.Com ?
2. Do you agree that the site has an extremely rapid growth rate?
3. Are you a regular reader of VikingBlogger.Com ?
4. Interested in checking out Viking Blogger.Com ?
5. Would you be a regular reader of VikingBlogger.Com ?
Thank you for your time.
