Bluurp Says
RM 2,300.00 is for the price of a OMPG “un-usable” iPhone (No more stock)
RM 2,700.00 is for the price of a TOTALLY 1337 “usable” iPhone
=======================================================================
This “make-usable” is hardware type:
– The next time if Apple updates the firmware etc
– The iPhone can still be updated and then “usable” again with the hardware
– Unlike Software Type, once “made-usable”, the firmware can’t be updated anymore
=======================================================================
There are two (2) ways to “make-usable” the iPhone
1. “make-usable” the firmware [Software]
2. Using a “Make-Usable” Thingie (MUT) [Hardware]
=======================================================================
First method:
– Requires a “made-usable-ware” fabricated by “make-usable-ers” to “make-usable” the firmware, hence “making-usable” it
– So that other Sim Card can use the iPhone
=======================================================================
Second method:
– Requires a hardware of the size of a Sim Card
– It is a container to place one’s Sim Card on it and then inserted into the iPhone
– When there is an update, one can just remove the Sim Card
– Update the firmware without using the MUT
– Simply re-insert the MUT to “make-usable” it
– It’s more like a hardware “make-usable”, in an ingenious way
=======================================================================
This MUT comes with a price:
– We gotta order it and have it sent here from the US
– Hence, this somewhat explains the price hike
– We hope you can understand

Deimos’s Thoughts
I think RM 2,700.00 ought to be a quite okay price for now, as fellow blogger Danny Foo did mention that the price for an iPhone in Malaysia has indeed shot up. Personally, I still think it is quite totally siao to fork out such a hefty amount of moolah for an iPhone. -_-

Deimos’s Additional Reads
Deimos does not have many mobile phones just one Nokia N-Gage QD. He used one of motorola phones before back in 1998. Not exactly a great fan of samsung phones at all as well as prepaid cellular phone plans as he is subscribed to post paid plans. Never heard of cell phone sensors detect radiation before as he is a gamer, not a cellphone fanatic. His Nokia N-Gage QD is quite ancient and does not have video cameras functions so he uses a real Cannon digital camera instead.

    Anyway, price ought to be negotiable if one is really interested in obtaining one. 💡

    Everything brand new packaged in the box mar. 😀

    Yeah, me too. 😛
    I am currently using a N-Gage QD bought in August 2004. 😎
    Did a search for the next gen N-Gage last night, found out there is this new N-series – N81 8GB! 😮
    I think I have fallen in love with that one. 😳
    Too pricy though. 😕
    The N81 8GB’s price ranges from RM 2,000.00 to RM 2,500.00 at the moment. 😯
    I think I would wait a year to see if the price would drop down to RM 1,000.00 or something like that. :mrgreen:
    Then perhaps I would get one N81 8GB for myself. 😉
    Cheers yo! 😀
