I’m impressed by them folks, some of them do care about us fellow South East Asian players. Here’s a screenie:

So it is finally here, the agonizing long wait for the famed Patch 0 and Patch 0.1 is finally over it seems. South East Asian Hellgate : London players are finally able to escape the dreaded beta server and finally experience the retail build, with their characters intact!

Besides that, all existing characters also received the 3 event items as a compensation from IAHGames. Not bad, I reckon. I much prefer these 3 event items than the extra 1 month subscription, which I deemed to be useless.

Have been playing Hellgate : London for some time, and I kinda got sick of the bugs and random server disconnects, crashes to desktops for no bloody good reason. After watching the video preview and gameplay review of Mythos which I blogged about in this post, another online action RPG PC game by Flagship Studios, I got that nostalgic feeling and made me wanna play Diablo 2 again.

One main factor for me to try out Diablo 2 again, is that while browsing the the official US / EU Hellgate : London forums, I came across a post in which a fellow player commented: “If wanna play Diablo 2 again, play it with the Eastern Sun mod.”

I recalled having played such a Diablo 2 mod before, quite a long time ago though. I did not continue to play that mod much, since online play was not readily available, i.e. the official battle.net does not support mods.

Just saw this news today, it seems that they just posted this up this morning. The fact that Flagship Studios is allowing more and more of what appeared to be “subscriber only features”, to be made available to non-subscribers caused quite an uproar in the official US / EU forums. Funny people, first they complain about not enough character slots for non-subscribers, then the subscribers complain when the non-subscribers gotten their fair share of character slots. In this world, you just can’t satisfy everyone, aye?

IAHGames did it again!

Tried to log into the game server = fail

Tried to access the official forums = fail

The time period which I tried to login was from 9:30pm till 9:40pm

What gives?

“Server Eror” – “The server name or address could not be resolved.”

So IAHGames changed their mind again, no character wipe, they announced.
