English Translation
It is difficult to remain grateful
in destitution; however, a person who
does good with a grateful heart is
less likely to fall into destitution.

Original Mandarin Version
一个人面临绝境时
还能心存感恩很难得
永保感恩心付出的人
比较不会陷入绝境

Deimos Analyzes – For Non-Bloggers
This first sentence is very true, most of the time folks in destitution end up committing suicide, if they are not mentally rescued in time. The second part seems quite religious as it implies that people who performs good deeds would not be in destitution easily.

Then again, it would not hurt to perform good deeds whenever one is able to, ya?

Deimos Analyzes – For Bloggers
What would it be like for a blogger to be in destitution? No money to pay for domain name and web hosting fees? No traffic, no readers, no comments? Still remain grateful? Quite hard and impossible to achieve that kind of mental state, right?

Prevention is better than cure, so it is better off not to become a blogger in destitution. If you are a new blogger, do not quit your regular job first as you still need some money to pay for your blog’s expenses. If you have been blogging for quite some time, you ought to have made sufficient funds to cover for your blog’s expenses.

Regarding traffic and readers, produce quality content, spend quality time doing blog and post promotion, fine tune some search engine optimization (SEO) and you ought to do fine. Oh ya, one more important thing is to network sincerely with other like minded bloggers. This is very important for new bloggers who are very new in the blogsphere.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Deimos is still waiting for two (2) miracles to happen, or else he might very well be in a some form of destitution if certain things does not improve for the better.

Are you still able to remain grateful in destitution? Quite impossible, yar?

Quite difficult. But if given some time to think over it, maybe can be slightly grateful.

Although i know that we should remain grateful no matter in what conditions, but sometimes we may start blaming others when we faced problems or get unfair treatment. One thing that we should always remember : “There was nothing fair in this world”. Always remember, there were some other people which more suffer than you.

Ahhh. I have learned to be grateful each day I wake up, after 2 hours of sleep. I have learned to be grateful to accept that every day is a learning experience. So I believe one can still be grateful even in times of destitution – or, you don’t feel you’re destitute when you have freed your mind with so many things that will make you worried, stressed, feeling empty, feeling destitute.

Good thing I have good friends and loving family I could turn to when time and luck is not on my side.

On my blogging? Hmmm, I have long accepted the fact even before I started blogging that I am not good in expressing my thoughts and I am not good at writing. And I did not expect to get ranked well in Alexa, or get thousands of readers and visitors to my blog regularly. Still doesn’t stopped me from buying a domain and hosting (in fact, bought 5 domains and two hosting already). Still working on it, but just doing it easy and just having fun. And happy to say, my expenses for these are already covered after 3 months of blogging, and have some extra for the next 3 years or more. Just lucky – might not be enough for others, but I am contented, no matter how small I got.

Ohh, Master, sorry for the long incoherent comment. 😀

Ya, true. Every time I face destitution, I feel grateful that I have my family, a harbor to rest before continuing the journey. So, it links back to deimos’s previous post, to have a warm and happy family, we should nurture a heart of joy and shower our family with blessings. So we must 永保感恩心付出, shower our family with blessings.

By the way deimos, I always like your picture selection 😉

I have bought my domain name with impulsiveness. I didn’t have a plan, or to make it famous or something. I don’t know if I will be able to cover up the money I paid or something.. But then, I am grateful now that through this domain I am starting to know more people.. And have discovered great blogs too! Like yours! =D

i do realized one thing ..
being grateful mostly comes from failure.
    after tasting the bitterness,
    one learns to be grateful.
at least that’s what i experienced.
