AllMalaysiaN Bloggers Project (AMBP) is hosting a new contest – Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Contest with a total of twenty (20) prizes up for grabs! Contest is real easy to participate, answer two (2) painstakingly easy questions, blog about it and comment on their page.

3. May submit many entries, only one prize given if won any

5.Organiser can swap prize with that of a similar value without prior notice
6. Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad’s Employees + immediate families cannot participate
7. Judges’ decision final, no correspondence be entertained
8. Winners notified via email
9. Winners’s list be published on AMBP’s site
10. Winners must collect prizes from The Star office at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya

Plot
Basics
Downstairs: Pie Shop, delicious pies by Nellie Lovett
Upstairs: Barber Shop, Sweeney Todd butchers his clients
Basement: Pie manufactured here, from Todd’s clients

Somewhat Detailed:
1. Benjamin Barker is a barber who is framed by Judge Turpin
2. Turpin is a horny mofo, wanted to hit on Barker’s wife Aliide and daughter Johanna
3. Barker escapes 15 years later, returns and becomes Sweeney Todd
4. Was told that his wife poisoned herself, daughter became ward of Turpin
5. Todd seeks revenge, Lovett supported him until a certain point
6. Slaughtered a whole lot of mofos along the way
7. Todd is finally “together” with his wife – Aliide in the end

Deimos’s Thoughts
This contest certainly seems easy enough. Today is 13 January 2008, still got 10 more days to go. So far I only saw four (4) mofos participating, adding me to that list would be a total of five (5) contestants to date.

However, comments are required to be approved first before actually published. So I believe that there are probably more than four (4) contestants since AMBP is really slow at approving thingies.

Seems like there are indeed only four (4) contestants before me, guess the chances of winning a prize is quite high, good for me then!

With only twenty (20) prizes up for grabs, the chances of scoring some prizes is quite high I say? Nevertheless, it never hurts to give it a shot, yarr?

    I have been to the London Dungeon where they let you be Sweeney Todd’s customer and the whole experience is awesome with special effects that make your chair shake and a spray of water on you neck to imitate a blood splash, i wont say more to ruin it for you if you want to visit. Highly recommended 🙂
