Apple is more like coming from a Buddhism family. However, she is a “free thinker”. She believes that there’s a power (God/Kami/神/Allah - you name it) behind all things. She takes up all good teachings, regardless of the Source.
Recently, her parents have changed their believe system. Not that it’s bad, but Apple feels sad, due to personal emotion factors.

I come from a buddhist family. But I am a free thinker myself. I have always been reading books about different religions, be it christianity, hinduism, Islamic, Taoism… Don’t know, somehow they attract me. I have picked up a few beliefs here and there, which I think that they are practical. And these principles I adapted have made me a better person, I strongly think so..xD

Joss stick worshipping ancestors is a Chinese tradition, I don’t think it relates closely to relgion though.
