English Translation
Stopping halfway is, in truth,
more difficult and tiring than
persevering on the path toward
the final goal.
Original Mandarin
停在半路
比走到目标更辛苦
Deimos Analyzes - For Non-Bloggers
In the building construction industry, stopping halfway basically means either losing lots of money or going bankrupt. This is especially true for building contractors, who have to fork out the money before receiving payment from the building developers.
There are many abandoned projects (buildings not fully construction) in Malaysia, and Deimos dares to say that all of them are due to the developer (client) having insufficient funds to pay to the contractor to continue the project.
Deimos Analyzes - For Bloggers
Once a blogger started to blog, it is better to continue to blog until the end, why quit? If you quit, all your earlier efforts would be wasted.

Is stopping halfway means quitting? Can I just make it like I am stopping halfway for a while, pause for a while, gather my thoughts, re-align my goals, measure my results - then go back again to what I was doing feeling renewed and inspired?
I do that.

I guess there’s no end for a blogging if the person decides to continue forever….=)
And..Sigh! Thanks for waking me up!! I have just decided to stop something I have done to pursue something else. And I still don’t know if it’s right or not…

Speaking of blogging, instead of “quitting” one could sell his/her blog. Still, I do see some folks who started to develop an online business and “quit” half way through.
It makes me sad to see sometimes as some people were on the right track to create something big.
Good to read you won’t quit, Deimos.

So true, I see a lot of bloggers who started blogging then when they see their efforts are not coming back, they quit without really analyzing what they did wrong and why they are not making money at all.
