Silent Thoughts – To have misery

English Translation
People always seek “to have”,
but “to have” is actually to have misery.

Original Mandarin Version
人都是求“有”
有就是烦恼

Deimos Analyzes – For Non-Bloggers
This is pretty straight forward, when people wanted to have something, they will attempt to acquire it. Unable to acquire what they want, they might feel miserable.

Deimos Analyzes – For Bloggers
Many bloggers are blogging for money, after realizing that it is not as easy as it appears to be, many quit. This is a good thing actually, as the sub par blogs will die off.

The Sims
The image used in the banner is from the game – The Sims and that Sim is looking quite miserable. To be honest, Deimos is feeling quite miserable these few days as well.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Today is the last day of Deimos’s Hong Kong Macau tour and he ought to reach LCCT Malaysia by around 11:30pm-ish. This is a scheduled post, courtesy of the WordPress blog publishing system. Hopefully, Deimos would be happier after going on a vacation trip.

What do you do to cheer yourself up when you are feeling miserable?

    when i’m miserable ..
i blog about it (since the emotion is most sincere at its “peak”),
i cry, i blast the music, or i sleep through it.
    🙄

Why are you feeling so miserable. You are a successful blogger. You may not make a great deal of money on it, but you are regular and it will eventually take you there.

Nothing like a hot chocolate, an inspiring book after a shower that will follow a brisk walk to clear my head, is my formula for getting rid of the blues and to cheer myself up.

I guess too many bloggers (successful ones) are sometimes trying to show off their earnings, thus this makes those who are trying to be them, do almost everything to earn money fast, and in the end, most of them failed. This leads to misery….

    or something like that…..

As for feeling depressed because of being unable to get what you want, hey, you’re a Buddhist, and Buddhists are supposed to not yearn for things, and hence should not be disappointed if they fail to get something they yearn for.

Supposedly a recent episode of “60 Minutes” investigated why the Danes are among the happiest people on Earth and it turns out that the people in Denmark are generally a gloomy and morose people who think the worst of what the future will hold, and so when things turn out not to be as bad as they expected, they’re happy!

About your statement “Many bloggers are blogging for money, after realizing that it is not as easy as it appears to be, many quit. Making money with blogging is hard at first… but it requires patience and determination.
