Do good when healthy

English Translation
Constantly practice goodness when you are healthy;
plant the seeds of goodness to reap the fruits of blessings,
thus, paving the way to a healthy life

Original Mandarin Version
健康时多做善事
多造善因福果
铺好人生健康之道

Deimos Analyzes
Same as the last Silent Thought, I believe this one appears to be quite religious too, especially if one is able to read and understand Mandarin. Nevertheless, I will attempt to analyze this and see how this theory can be applied in the Cyberspace, also try to find out how it can be utilized in the EntreCarders Community.

Looking at myself, my sleeping hours have been badly deprived due to excessive time spent on blogging. This unhealthy sleeping pattern has adversely affected my health for the worse, to name a few, Panda Eyes, Feeling Jaded, Unexpectedly Dozing Off at times during the day, etc.

In order words, I am unable to perform at my 100% efficiency. During these few days of Chinese New Year, I have slept for more hours than the usual 4-5 hours per day prior to Chinese New Year holiday break. These few days, I find myself clocking in at least 7 hours of rest instead of just 4 hours.

I certainly feel a hell lot better! This made me realize that it is important to maintain a good balance in everything, my 2nd Aunt has been nagging to me the topic of balance, balance, balance these few days, now I understand why. Methinks I have written enough of myself for now, lets look at being healthy and practicing goodness in the Cyberspace.

Scenario 1
1. Deimos is Healthy
2. Fellow EntreCarder needs help
3. Deimos assists
4. Everyone is happy
5. Deimos practiced goodness

Scenario 2
1. Deimos is unhealthy [Insufficient Sleep]
2. Fellow EntreCarder needs help
3. Deimos attempts to assists
4. Botches the attempt instead
5. Everyone is not quite happy
6. Deimos tried to practiced goodness but failed

Conclusion
I guess I better make sure I continue to have at least 7 hours of nightly rest when Chinese New Year is over and I am back in the Kuala Lumpur, or else I am really gonna suffer some serious health issues!

Deimos’s Thoughts
Ought to have realized this earlier, can’t enjoy success if I am dead, right? Like what a good friend of mine who works in Singapore – Vic told me: “You will have plenty of time to blog if you are alive!” Well, he is bloody right!

Deimos Asks
Dunno what to ask, oh well I’ll try and ask some questions anyway.
1. Do you consider yourself to be healthy?
2. Do you strive to practice goodness?
There we go! I asked two (2) questions! RAWR!
Now attempt to answer them!

Sleep is important. Try and fit in an afternoon nap whenever possible, it’s definitely worth it. If you need 7 hours sleep per night, and fit in a 1 hour sleep in the afternoon, you ca easily get by with only 5 more hours of sleep at night, gaining one hour in total, and the best part is, you’ll feel more rested and have more energy throughout the day.

Now as for the goodness part, yes it’s true what they say, you reap what you sow. Bring value in the world, and value will come to you. Make others happy, and happiness will be yours.

OK, so good luck with the sleeping pattern mate! Oh, and don’t start doing all the healthy things at once because you’ll probably be overwhelmed in a few days and stop all. Start with the sleep, after a couple of weeks throw in some 10 minutes of exercise, after a couple of weeks more increase that and start making diet changes… you get the point.
