Overview
A couple of days ago, Deimos was given the chance to do product reviews – products that Deimos has strong interest in – PC Games. Shortly after that, Deimos manage to get his hands on a nice puzzle logic game – Paradoxion. This is the first impression of Deimos after he spent a few minutes trying out Paradoxion, a full review will be published later. Review copy courtesy of slavecircus.com

Paradoxion – Paradoxion Launcher
Paradoxion
The game launcher of Paradoxion, run the game in full screen or in a window.

Paradoxion – Loading Screen
Paradoxion
The loading screen of Paradoxion, a game developed by VSBgames. That ball like thingie sure looks like some futuristic high tech soccer ball aye?

Paradoxion – Title Menu Screen
Paradoxion
A simple title menu screen, it seems that player Deimos is logged in.

Paradoxion – Player Profile
Paradoxion
Deimos has no idea who Jason is, but it seems that Deimos has completed 2 out of the 90 levels that Paradoxion has in total.

Paradoxion – Level Selection
Paradoxion
As shown above, Deimos completed 2 levels as that there is a tick beside Level 1 and Level 2.

Paradoxion – Level Selection
Paradoxion
So there are 30 levels in the “Tutorion” level pack, 30 levels more in the Odion and Triadeon level packs, all adding up to 90 levels total.

Paradoxion – A tip before the first level
Paradoxion
Tutorion probably means tutorial as this first level is pretty straight forward and easy.

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Is that planet earth and moon in the background?

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Either hover the mouse over the blue or red orb for some time, or right click once and some sort of tool tip explaining the properties of the orbs.

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Basically the red orb and blue orb share the same properties.

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Looking at the right side, it seems that there is one (1) blue orb and two (2) red orb for Deimos to choose and place onto the board. So Deimos proceed to pick the blue orb and decides to place it in between the two (2) blue orbs in the board.

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Click – kaboom? Hey, the red orbs moved!

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
The blue orbs in the middle blew up, shifted the two (2) red orbs as shown above now.

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Put a red orb in there …

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Boom!

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Now put a red orb in there too …

Paradoxion – Level 1
Paradoxion
Kaboom!

Paradoxion – Level 1 Completed
Paradoxion
Deimos has no idea who Epicurus is, but the quote “The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it.” seems quite fitting for a puzzle logic game such as Paradoxion.

Solving puzzles can be fun, if you can solve it. 😆

    @Apple:
I think this Paradoxion is not quite your standard color matching puzzle game. 😮

    @levian:
Well, Paradoxion is quite hard for me. Still haven’t beat level 4. 😐
