Over these years, Deimos have bought indie games bundles from Humble Bundle, Indie Royale, Indie Gala and recently Bundle Stars as well. In doing so, Deimos managed to accumulate a lot of unused CD keys that can be used to activate games on Steam. Now, Deimos intend to give those CD keys away.

What is this Weekly Steam Games Giveaway thing?
Starting tomorrow, Sunday, 24 February 2013 and every week thereafter until there are no more CD keys to give away, Deimos will host a weekly Steam Games giveaway on every Sunday and the winner of the giveaway will be announced on the following Saturday.

Total value of games to be given away is about $2,009.13 in US dollars.

How to enter the giveways and win some Steam Games?
1. Like ahkong.net on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ahkong.net
2. Share the relevant game giveaway blog post (not this one!) on your Facebook wall.
3. Get friends to like your Facebook wall post.
4. One like means one entry. Own like counts as one.
5. Post your Facebook wall post link in the relevant game giveaway blog post.
6. Wait for the giveaway winning results to be posted on the following Saturday.

How to activate and download games via Steam?
Skip to step 2 if you already have a Steam account and updated Steam software.

1. Download, install Steam client - http://store.steampowered.com/about/
2. Run the Steam client software.
3. New Steam user, click “Create a new account” button to register a new account.
4. Existing Steam user, just log in.

5. Click the “+ Add a game…” button at the bottom left hand corner.

6. Select “Activate a product on Steam”.
7. Paste in the CD Key.
8. After a while Steam will authenticate the CD Key.
9. Click on “Library”. The game is now added to your Steam account.
10. Click on the install button to start downloading it.

Steam will automatically update your games whenever a new version is available; do not manually patch / update your games as it may prevent the games from functioning properly.

What does Steam Gifts and Steam CD Keys mean?
Steam Gifts means you will receive an email with a link to activate the game while Steam CD Keys means you will receive a CD Key to activate the game via the Steam Client.

Steam Gift & Steam CD Keys won here are preferable for your own personal usage only and not to be traded or sold off for profit.
