Not all spells are available right from the start and will only be unlocked as you progress.

For each treasure chest you dig up, you get to spin the slot machine once. Yes, this is a new feature as you have a shovel in which you can dig for treasure chests.

The sequel seems to be harder than the original. Perhaps Deimos just sucks at this game.

Graphics seems to have been slightly improved. Game play more or less is the same, more spells to cast now. However, the game is still as hard.
