Darth Vader

English Translation
The journey of life is short
but difficult to travel.
We must take each step with care
so we do not lose direction
and take the wrong path.

Original Mandarin Version
人生这段路并不长
但确实不好走
所以必须步步谨慎
切莫米了路走错了方向

Deimos Analyzes – For Non-Bloggers
Anakin Skywalker succumbed to the dark side and thus became the fearsome Darth Vader, fortunately there is still some good in him and he became good in the end.

Okay, we certainly are not Jedi Masters or Sith Lords, but we do make choices that effects our lives down the road. In High School, arts or science stream? SPM, which subjects to take? College, what courses to pursue? Freshly graduated, what kind of job to go after? Join what company? Take up post graduate courses?

Those mentioned above are quite harmless examples, more serious ones would be probably involve committing some crime, breaking laws, etc and ultimately lead a life like Nikko Belic, the protagonist in the latest Grand Theft Auto series.

Deimos Analyzes – For Bloggers
So what kind of directions would bloggers lose, paths taken wrongly? Started off as a niche blog, but became something else later on? Did not do any paid posts, but unable to resist the power of the force money and took the plunge?

Perhaps the only consequences of losing direction and taking wrong path for bloggers would be losing money, time and the possibility of achieving blogging fame?

Deimos’s Thoughts
Once a upon a time, Deimos lost direction, took the wrong path, in the end, he wasted precious three (3) years. Due to that reason only, he joined the work force at a later age. Time is precious, try not to waste too much time on the first degree course of one’s choice.

What kind of path are you on? Did you lose any directions?

    hi Deimos .
    I’m sure you’ve noticed my e-mail signature

    ” i know I’ll die young ”

    i know that – i can feel it and I’m not afraid 🙂

    i actually don’t know whether the path I’m taking now is the write or it misleads me all that time ..

    i think time will tell me / if there is some time left

    p.s not pessimistic

    For bloggers,

    I used to blog for pay per post on my previous blog but that was because I needed some money to purchase my own domain

    For the blogging path, I’d recommend taking things slowly like generating traffic first by writing good post instead of for SEO.

    I don’t think monetizing your blog too early is a good idea to generate income because I don’t like blogs that have too much ADS 😥 and you can barely find the blog post.

    Are you suffering from some kind of chronic disease? 😮

    @elezend:
    Many newbie bloggers often make the mistake of plastering too many ads. 😐

    =====================================================================

    @joshuaun:
    You should regain your direction soon as your bandwidth limit will be lifted. 😀

    some has monetized their blog until the posts got soooo boring ..
    it’s only money they talked about.
    😕

    @deimos

    i think it’s unavoidable to take some “wrong paths”
    before heading down the “correct paths”.
    same phrase i used before – “never try never know”.
    if it’s the wrong choice, we learn from it.
    if it’s the right choice, woohoo !!
    😆

    It is quite easy to spot paid post nowadays. 💡
    Just by looking at the anchor text and link alone is more than enough. 😎
    Again, you are totally right about that. 😀
    Try not to make too many mistakes though, not enough time later on. 😮

    And because of the John Chow fever, everyone is making blog to teach you how to make money online @.@ Which I once considered blogging about but decided to drop it off but I’m glad I dropped it 😳

    yup, lets try not to make too much mistakes indeed.

    i suppose it took much conscious effort to pay attention,
    n notice what we’re doing so far, is correct.
    or maybe having someone to wake us .. hoho !!
    😛

    @elezend:
    john chow fever ??
