Removing Anger
[Once a upon a time, there was a lady who likes to get angry over small trivial matters. She also knows this is not good, so she sought out a highly revered monk for consultation.]

[After listening to her story, without saying anything he lead her to a meditation room, and left.]

[The lady was furious and threw a fit. She continued for quite some time, but the monk did not bother with her. The lady start to beg again, he remained silent not doing anything. The lady finally became silent. Monk came to the door, asked her: “You still angry?”]

[Lady said: “I am only angry with myself, how come I would come to this place to suffer this kind of sentence.”]

[“Can’t even forgive yourself, how to have a mind that is calm and still like water?” saying that the monk folded his sleeves and left.

[After a while, the monk asked her again: “Still angry?”]

[“Not angry anymore.” lady replied.

[“Why?”]

[Angry also no use what.”]

[“Your anger is not gone yet, still suppressed within your heart, later exploded would be more critical.” the monk left again.]

[The monk came to the door for the third time, lady told him: “I am not angry anymore, because it is not worth it to get angry.”]

[“Still know whether it is worthy to get angry or not, there is still doubts in your heart, still some anger roots.” the monk laughed.]

[When the shadow of the monk stood outside the door, the lady asked the monk: “Master, what is anger?”]

[The monk poured the glass of tea onto the floor. The lady looked at it for quite some time, then she understood it. Thanked the monk and left.]

[Why get angry? Anger is the stuff that others exhaled and you received into your mouth, you will feel bad if you swallow it, when you cannot see it, it will be gone.]

[Anger is the stupid act of using other people’s fault to punish yourself.]

[Time is precious, there is endless fortune and happiness to sought after in life, where got enough time to get angry?]

I don’t angry at all (or very rarely). Even if you deleted my comment on the other post, I was laughing all the way. Hehehe. You’re lucky you got one cool dad. Better heed his advice, my friend. Smiling and laughing your adversaries and frustrations do make you stronger, spice up relationships and make your girlfriends proud. 🙂

I guess it’s normal for people to get angry. Who doesn’t anyway? In fact I am really afraid of those who always tell you “it’s ok, it’s alright…” when you know when you have offended them. They are very scary. Because they are not straight forward towards their feelings. And you never know what they are thinking.

Don’t we always hear people saying that those who are the quietest are the scariest people?

So, I think if you get angry, show it, let people know but don’t go scolding people like mad or else they will hate you.

Well like me, I am very straight forward. If I am angry with my friend I just kinda raise my voice a little. But they accept me for the way I am. And they like it the fact that I won’t hide my feelings and honest so they know they are not being backstabbed. That’s nice you know. xD

Anger is one of those things that I deal with through my son each day. Maybe I need to send him to the monk and get him some help so that he will realize that he doesn’t need to get angry over silly little things. Thank you for your condolences for the loss of my mother. God bless.
