The grid for the first tutorial level is much smaller. It is much larger in actual levels.

Once you have completed the mission you get to choose a new one in the map menu.

King’s Guard – Heroes!

Just like in role playing games (RPGs) your heroes will gain experience, level up, etc.

King’s Guard – Death?
King's Guard
Your heroes will die if overwhelmed. Quickly revive them or else you will lose the mission.
