Heroes Of Newerth – Beta Keys Giveaway
In case you do not know what Heroes Of Newerth is, read the following paragraph. If you already know what Heroes Of Newerth is, then you can skip the following paragraph.
Heroes of Newerth is the upcoming PC game developed by S2Games, the same guys who made Savage and the sequel Savage 2 hybrid RTS + FPS games. Heroes Of Newerth is still in closed beta testing so only those with beta keys are able to check it out before the masses do.
As of now, Heroes Of Newerth is still covered by a Non Disclosure Act (NDA) so please do not leak any media such as in game screen shots, videos, etc until the NDA is lifted.
Thanks to the good folks over at S2 Games, Deimos is given twenty (20) beta invites to distribute in his little blog about flash games download.
So if you want to receive a beta invite via email to participate in this Heroes Of Newerth beta, just comment on this post and answer the question under the “Deimos Asks” here below. Just to share your thoughts with other fellow wannabe beta testers.
You need to comment on the post with your actual, real, valid, working email address, so that Deimos is able to email the beta key to you. Deimos respects your privacy policy and he will not share your email address with anyone else.
Remember to reply the question that Deimos asked under the “Deimos Asks” section here below if you really want to get a beta key to participate in this Heroes Of Newerth.
As of now, there are only twenty (20) HON beta keys to give away so grab them while they are still available! Deimos will ask for more beta keys to give away once the first twenty (20) has been all given away.
If you are a fellow webmaster or blogger Deimos will not email the beta invites to you unless you truly are a gamer and is really interested in beta testing Heroes Of Newerth.

I thinks this kind of game is the future os online gaming(mmorpg too) because it’s a very competitive , exciting and funny kind of game. You don’t get bored never.

I’ve played DotA for the past few years (like everyone else trying to get one). I’ve played video games for years (again, like everyone else). However, unlike everyone else, I have been going to school for, and have almost completed, a degree in Computer Science. I feel that this training will give me an advantage in not only noticing bugs in the program, but will allow me to give detailed explanations of exactly what happened. I believe this will be a big help to the programmers of the game, giving them a better idea of what is actually going wrong.

So just like everyone else it seems, I’m a old school dota player for many years. I just heard from a few of my friends about HoN and it seemed like a great idea. After a few youtube video’s and a search for where I can find beta keys on google I was led here. I really look forward to getting a beta key and would love to share my opinion on the game with others.

The reason I’ve got to start playing HoN is pretty much like everyone else in here; I’ve been a HUGE fan of dota for a couple of years now, and when I was told about this game was coming to a soon release I really wanted to try it out.

I know every freaking Dota hero in and out, with every spell and hero name!
But it’s really dissapointing that this map is based on warcraft 3, therefore, there are a few restraints in the game.
But with this new game (or rather Gameeninge, since it’s still 1:1 dota 🙂 ) it can finally be fully customized to dota (nerd) players, like myself!
Finally 100 % working hotkeys, useful interface, good looking heroes!
I really would appreciate a beta key for this awesome game!

How could any frequent Warcraft 3 battle.net gamer NOT want a beta key? Everybody who’s logged on to battle.net multiple times has at least tried to enter the game (and was promptly kicked, since you can never seem to DL DotA without simply going to the website) so of course I would like a beta key! I’ve always been a hardcore gamer, but a well educated gamer as well- I like RTS’s RPGs, turn-based strategy, but I like action games and alternative games- anything, so long as it’s fun.
And a beta key would definitely be nice, assuming that you do in fact get more =D

If there was a God, it would be you right now. Having a HON Beta key is like finding a pot of gold at the bottom of a rainbow.
I’m 28 years old and still a tragic DOTA fan ever since WC3 and 3 corridors. My friends and I will find any excuse to have a 6vs6 LAN party…even during my friend’s wife’s baby shower last week. We play together every week but only have 1 HON key amongst the 12 of us at the moment.
I’ve searched far and wide for all the clips and images of HON and the graphics get me very excited…and aroused…LOL. I can’t wait to try it for myself to spread the news, offer suggestions for improvements and report any bugs. DOTA is close to perfect and I still love the graphics but the characters and spells on HON look amazing. I think my friends and I will be playing it for the next 10 years.
DEIMOS, PLEASE GIVE ME A BETA KEY (or 12 keys for me and my friends before we get too old and get arthritis…LOL)! I will be forever grateful.

I would like to ask for a beta key for HoN, since I’ve been into DotA for over 4 years, i would like to test the possible successor (or may even surpass) the greatest Custom Made Map of WarCraft III of all time…

I have to say that I am very interested in trying this game out. I love the competitiveness of dota. So a game that can match that and add to it the benefits of running in its own platform will surely be awesome. Being able to track stats and have in-game guilds will be great and add to the competitiveness of the this genre. Also not being tied down by the war3 engine will open many doors for new and exciting skills/abilities. Time will only tell just how great this game will be (well that and maybe a beta key!).

I was pretty excited when I heard about HoN as it’s kind of like a much more in-depth and developed version of dota. My father was always a big fan of pinball, but he jumped all over the Atari and NES when they were released and those two consoles are what really got me into gaming. I’ve been a console gamer for the majority of my life because my family never owned a computer. It wasn’t until my teen years where we got our first computer and I picked up Starcraft, and from that day forward I was an online gamer.
After years of playing SC I finally moved onto WC3 and that’s where my new-found love was. One night while I was trying to find a custom game to play on Bnet, I joined a DotA game and although I was flamed for being terrible (first time playing), I was hooked. I played DotA day in and day out for almost a year, participating in DXDwest when they were still an up and coming name. I played in Cal-i with a group of friends and did fairly well. After 3 of 5 players decided to give up DotA, I began playing only casually or when we had enough people for an IH.
After looking at HoN and reading quite a few blogs on the game play, and seeing the graphics (I am a graphics whore), I feel that this game is just what I need to keep me entertained (I’ve barely been gaming lately since nothing out currently can hold my attention besides DotA when I have friends on). I currently have about 6 friends who are playing HoN so I’ve been searching most of today to try and obtain a beta key and give this game a go.

I have been playing DotA for more than 5 years (way back during RoC dota)and I still spend at least 3 hours a day playing DotA in an Australian server (www.Boredaussie.com).

I am a massive DOTA fan and have been playing ever since the start when heroes like riki had the ward ulti (like witch doctors currently). I’m on bnet most nights playing DOTA and would love the opportunity to try out Ice Frogs latest work. Well, first off I’m a nerd through and through. I never did manage to get into DOTA, but I always envied those who could. I’ve been an extreme nerd with WoW for a while now and managed to quit the game after some real life complications. Now that those are starting to get sorted out, I am looking for a new game to play. HoN looks amazing, not going to lie, and I’d like to “main” it as a new game. I’ve been a fan – I’d like to become a player and competitive contender.

Like many I’ve been playing dota for a long time and I love the game, I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and am now 23. I’ve played all major mmo’s, online FPS, and RTS. Dota is special like counterstrike in that it actually carved its own niche out even though it was a mod of another game.
Many people I’ve known have been saying that someone needed to take dota and make it into its own game and sell it retail to smooth everything out and fix all the kinks. This is a great thing that has happened and I would absolutely love to take part in the beta. I also have beta tested multiple games including Frozen Throne, Most MMO’s, and the original Savage by this studio.
Hope you deem me worthy of a beta key and I hope to give knowledge and constructive criticism with the community.

In response to your question my answer would be that I have been a fan of Dota for quite a while now and as soon as I saw the videos and screenshots of HoN, I got excited.
I have been looking for a beta key for about 2 days straight every time I’m on the computer but I haven’t been able to obtain one 🙁

I used to be a huge fan of Dota back in the day…but come to think of it, I never really stopped being a fan. My access to it ended abruptly when a friend of mine decided to up and move while borrowing my WC3 disk.
At any rate, the reason I would like my own beta key here is that I’ve already played the game and love it! I was staying with a friend in another state and he had gotten his hands on the beta. It’s a great game that I would love to have a bit more than 2 hours experience with before it comes out. I feel as though there is a lot of constructive criticism I could offer S2 before they release the official game to the public.
