Fun with Portal: The Flash Version

Portal: The Flash Version is a Macromedia Flash Powered Game based on the Portal game developed by Valve, released in a package of five (5) games in The Orange Box. If you are a fan of puzzle games, then you might probably find this game quite entertaining.

Portal: The Flash Version Solution Guide Download

Left mouse button – launch a portal.
A W D – movement
Q – launch a blue portal.
E – launch a yellow portal.
R – Close both portals.
F – pick up an object.
~ – open up console (enable through the options)
O – quick quality adjust.
Esc/P – pause game.

There are a total of 40 levels (or rooms) in the game, your objective is to use your portal gun to open up portals, manipulate portals placement in order to exit to the next level (room).

You can shoot a blue or yellow portal, step into either one and you will come out from the other one. Pretty cool aye?

The few early stages are more like tutorials, teaching you the concept of Portal. The real challenge (as well as fun levels) begins at later levels. So far I have managed to reach level 15, kinda stuck there for now.

So what do you think about flash games? I find myself having heaps of funs while playing them! Some of the good ones can be pretty entertaining, I say.

😆 Yeah some levels are kinda hard if you have not figured out how to play around with the portals to your advantage.

I have beaten level 25 and now is trying out level 26. ğŸ˜Ž

Somehow, I think you lose your progress if you shut down your computer? 👿

Have to play through the levels again. 😐

Not much trouble though since I already know how to beat those levels, just a bit time consuming. 🙄

Aye, I started posting graphical guides for Portal: The Flash Version, are you still stuck at level 6? 😛

Hah! You pro flash gamer! 😀
I have yet to try out Valve’s Portal packaged together in “The Orange Box” as I have bought a bit too many games recently. Darling would murder me if I buy any more games. 😯

    Cheers!

Totally stuck at level 37…can’t run fast enough! AND I just discovered on this level I can pick up stuff! Can you imagine getting to level 37 with just moving things with portals….so irritating!

Yes, I finally did, but I had to do it cheating. There is a glitch in the game if you go right above the sliding door to the exit and try to grab a block through the laser machine. If you play around with it you just fall through the door.

I hate cheating but it was literally the only way I was going to make it through that level. The online flash version is just too slow to make it through the blue electric fields. I literally played level 37 casually at work for 12 hours!!! I’m very persistent!
