Though the graphics appear sketchy and simple, the controls, animation and music score is quite good. Ultimately making this game nice and fun to play. Highly recommended for fans of side scrolling platform games, especially fans of Mario and Sonic.

The thing that stands out the most to me in the Fancy Pants series of games is the physics (ok, it isn’t really physics…let’s call is pseudo-physics) the developers created. It really adds a lot to the overall look, feel, and style of the game. I love how he jumps, tumbles, and slides. Very cool. One of my favorite things about Flash development is the way it allows you to leverage mathematics and pseudo-physics very easily and weave them into game play.
kljs, I would have to disagree with you…the minimalistic graphics are one of the things that makes it so cool!
As far as Mario and Sonic go, I played Mario growing up but never got into Sonic. I always liked the simple Mario storyline.

Fancy Pants is good. Just it needs more levels. Like a game where you spend 500+ hours on it to complete just one level. Lulz, spend my life on my computer. And I gotta tell ya, I still play the old Mario game and the old Sonic game, just I play it on my Nintendo Wii.
