Installation Notes
Simply “copy and paste” or “upload and overwrite” the following “List of Updated Files” which is included in the re-packaged zip file archive available for download in the above linkie.
Please understand that there is totally no need to update the database if one is updating one’s Wordpress version from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 as illustrated in the screenie here below if one tries to execute the http://domain-name/wp-admin/upgrade.php script.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Is it just me, or did Wordpress start to publicly announce the list of files modified, starting with this release? Amusingly, they choose to let some Village Idiot host the update files.
Of course, this certainly would not stop me from hosting my own set of files update package. I put more confidence in my own work, not some Village Idiot.
As for why they delegate a task of such importance to such Village Idiot is totally beyond my understanding, perhaps someone would be kind enough to enlighten me?

Some other blog was saying the only change made was to the xmlrpc.php but when I updated that flie, it didn’t update the thing.
Ended up just overwriting the files again. ROFL! Oh well…but will use this package to update the rest of my blogs.
