Overview
This is a post about the Razor Queen, the Gloople that is considered to be the end-game-boss of the flash game - Amorphous+ and this little article hopes to assist those who are having some difficulties in making this Razor Queen go splat.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Summary
In short, battling the Razor Queen involve the following steps:
1. Get her to lunge at you, keep a distance.
2. When she opened her front claws, start dodging to the side.
3. Aim good and swing, try not to miss and hit her claws instead.
4. Flee, repeat the first step.
5. Try to survive her barrage of attacks during siege mode.

Also find out how to make the Razor Queen appear as well as read up a possible Razor Queen rematch glitch as experienced by Deimos.

If there is a need, the following are guides about Amorphous+ by Deimos:
1. Amorphous+ Awards
2. Amorphous+ Rewards
3. Amorphous+ Bestiary

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Before she lunges at you
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
The Razor Queen will open up her two (2) front razor blades before she lunges toward you. Now would be a good time to start moving to the sides to take a good swing at her. Keep a distance of like a quarter (1/4) of the screen (as suggested by fellow Amorphous+ flash game player Dragonheart91) and the Razor Queen will have a higher probability of lunging at you.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - She lunges at you
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
If you dodged correctly, you would be in a good position to take a swing at the Razor Queen now. The image shown above is not exactly a good position as the Razor Queen would have recovered from her lunge, and if you take a swing your attack would bounce off her blades.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Sliced
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
Upon a successful dodge, position yourself nicely for a good swing, else you will easily bounce your sword off any of her five (5) razor blades and probably get yourself sliced and diced.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Stalking mode
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
As shown above, the Razor Queen is protecting her core with her two (2) front razor blades and your attempts to strike will simply bounce off. Stay away from her, try to maintain the distance required for her to make a lunge at you.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Proximity Mines?
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
From time to time, the Razor Queen will drop little spikes like the one shown above, that hover around the screen until you approached them, and these little spikes will explode shortly after. The spikes shooting from from this proximity mine alike spike bomb will shred your Reactive Armor reward into tiny pieces, and of course, kill you if you are naked and unarmored.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Siege Mode - Digging Razor Mites
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
When the Razor Queen got fed up of chasing you around or when the distance is too simply too far for her to make a comfortable lunge towards you, she will dig her razor blades into the ground and start throwing all sorts of attacks at you. People call this the siege mode of the Razor Queen.

One of them involves the Razor Queen shooting out something that is known as a Digging Razor Mite, which will burrow under the ground (circled in yellow) and will spring forth (circled in red) and attempt to slice you into two (2) halves, vertically, if you are naked and unarmored, your Reactive Armor reward will blow up the Digging Razor Mite if you are wearing one. Anticipate where and when it will come out, then then a good swing at it to splatter it.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Siege Mode - Spikes
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
Besides the Digging Razor Mite, the Razor Queen will also shoot out a flurry of fast moving long spikes (circled in red) that will impale you and send you flying off into the distance, if you are naked and unarmored. These spikes will simply stun you for a brief moment if you are wearing the Reactive Armor reward so try to keep your red suit in one piece.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Siege Mode - Spike Balls
Amorphous+ Razor Queen
Sometimes the Razor Queen will launch spike balls instead of single spikes, spikes in plural format instead of singular. Like the fast moving long spikes, these spike balls will only stun you momentarily, if you are wearing the Reactive Armor reward but if you are not, you will be crushed.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - How to make the Razor Queen appear?
First of all, you must have encountered all 17 different types of Glooples, which means that your Amorphous+ Bestiary must have all 17 different types of Glooples in them.

Once you done that, start a single nest game, size small. Splatter all the Glooples until there is only 14 Glooples left (as reported by fellow Amorphous+ player - Dragonheart91)to splatter in the nest. There is a high probability that a Razor Queen will appear as some players reported (fellow Amorphous+ player - Dragonheart91) that they have done this three (3) times in a row, and the Razor Queen did indeed show up in those three (3) times of play testing.

However, for Deimos’s own experience regarding this 14 Glooples left in a small nest thing, he found out that the following “hard” Glooples might appear: Amalgam (most probability have the highest chance of showing up during the end of a single nest, as Deimos experienced this many times), Queen (Deimos experienced this few times) and Razor Queen (so far Deimos experienced this twice, the first time he got butchered up quite her quite good though he managed to splatter her on the first rematch).

Once a type of “hard” Gloople already shown up near the end of a nest, there is little chance that another type of “hard” Gloople will show up, at least this is what Deimos experienced.

Amorphous+ Razor Queen - Possible Rematch Glitch
If you get killed by the Razor Queen, you get an option to rematch. You will respawn again with your Reactive Armor reward intact, provided you are wearing one in the first place. If you get killed during the first rematch, you will have another one.

Here is what Deimos experienced earlier:
1. Clear small nest until 14 Glooples remaining in that nest.
2. Razor Queen showed up, butchered Deimos’s character.
3. Rematch, Deimos successfully splattered the Razor Queen instead.
4. Quited that game, equipped newly acquired Razor Glaive reward.
5. Started a single small nest game again.
6. Surprisingly, the Razor Queen is there, right at the start!
7. Deimos splattered her in two (2) swings and got the “Merciless” award.

Deimos’s Thoughts
At first Deimos thought that the Razor Queen is impossible to beat, but after many practice attempts in practice mode. Deimos went “Ah screw the practices, let’s deal with the real thing instead” and so he started clearing small nests until 14 Glooples remains and eventually, the Razor Queen showed up. Deimos’s character got brutally butchered by the Razor Queen, though he managed to exact vengeance upon her during the first rematch.

I am glad the 14 thing worked. I have tested it more, and while it does seem to increase the chance of a Razor Queen spawning, it does not guarantee it. I have only ever found Razor Queen’s following this method, but if a Queen spawns between 25 and 14 glopples left, or an Amalgam spawns, you basically must restart. However, like I said it does seem to increase the chance quite a bit.

Also, nice job killing the Razor Queen Deimos! I am still working on her. After hitting her 4 times she always seems to get me. I of course own her in practice, but who cares about that.

For the record, she lets you rematch three (3) times for a total of four (4) tries against her each time you find her.

I’m having lots of trouble making the Razor Queen appear, sometimes I wait with 14 glooples left to kill for several minutes before I get fed up and kill everything. I just cannot make that stupid razor queen show up! Any tips?

P.S. I am fully aware of the glitch that gets you infinite rematches against any species I want, the reason I haven’t used it is because I haven’t unlocked the Razor Queen yet.

    Heres my experience:

to make the razor queen show, I followed the basic steps to 14 glooples left. It doesn’t matter if an amalgam shows up anywhere, as long as you kill it fast. (If it shows up at more than 10, you might want to just run into it with your armor if its too troublesome). if you meet any really troublesome ones like lvl 2+ green blobs or lvl 2 blue blobs kill them. Once you work your way down to 5-3 left just sit there and dodge. Theres a really big chance one shows up. I’ve had 1 show at 12, and 3 times they showed up when there were only 4 left.

To fight him, always dodge clockwise, since its easier to hit him. Grenade gives you a free hit but i found sprint works better. try to keep within half a screen of it so that it doesn’t go siege

You can use machine gun when he goes to siege mode and thats an easy kill but unless your sword kills him you don’t get the bonus sword. However it still counts as 1 of the 2 kills for the medal

YES!!! I finally got the Razor Queen and killed it! I found the bestiary description of it somewhere, saw that it mentioned “an abnormally high number of biters” in the description, and tried that way. I killed as few biters as possible (I had 5 at one point), and near the end, with 3 on the screen, SHE SHOWED UP!!! Of course, I got creamed, but I practiced over and over, used the practice mode glitch, and got her to show up AND KILLED HER!!! WOOT!!!

On a side note, when I first killed her in the game, I got the first kill AND multi-kill awards. Go figure.

I forgot to mention this before, but you should add the spin attack thing she does sometimes after you hit her. You know, she goes into stalking mode, spins in a tight circle, trying to whack you with that enormous bladed tail of hers.

    Just a thought.

The reactive armor protects from the gray’s tendrill so I had missed that one!

There is an easier way to defeat her.

fight her with box turret, then the box turret will shoot her, doing no damage but,she will approach the turret to destroy it,as she does this use your chance to slash her as much as you can,as she is to busy moving towards the turret.

About how many tries did it take everyone to find the Razor Queen? :?:

I have 107 badges (the other one is 15 deaths), yet I’ve tried around 80 times or so and haven’t found her.

I don’t know if this is considered unlucky or if it’s just me being impatient, but I’m starting to get a tiny bit bored of all these runs.

Is there an alternative method I can try, perhaps, if this doesn’t work that is also known to be somewhat reliable?

Thank you in advance for your help, anyone.

Here’s my method for killing the razor queen, which, as I see, is like the one mentioned above.

Use the reactive armor and the box turret. First, hit the queen twice with your sword. Then draw her to a corner and throw the turret, and run to the opposite corner. The queen will follow you, and this will give the turret time to set up. When it’s finished, it’ll probably shoot the queen once, which helps you, but more importantly, she’ll immediately turn and go after it. Just follow beside her and put in a couple more slashes.

That seems to me to be the best/safest method.

Before u fill up ur bestairy and confront the razor queen make sure u have completed all nest sizes first!
i made the mistake of thinking huge nest would be eiser with the razor glaive(which it is!) but at around 30 glooples left the razor queen turns up EVERY time, and now i cant get the lsat reward cos it always deafests me first time.
However if u have got the huge nest award this is a good way too meet up with the razor queen.
