Windows 7 and Flash Games
So what do Windows 7 and Flash Games have in common? Windows 7 has web browsers and Flash Games are mostly played in web browsers. That is pretty much the only thing that both Windows 7 and Flash Games have in common.
Windows 7 vs Windows Vista vs Windows XP
Based on the above chart, it seems that Windows XP SP3 is actually the best choice of operating system to use when using various web browsers.
Windows 7 and PC Games
Regarding performance improvements for PC Games, there is no real notable significant changes as well as according to the above chart. In fact, XP is even better in some situations.
Windows 7 Features
Sure, there may be tons of new features in Windows 7, such as “simplifies everyday tasks” or “works the way you want” and even “makes new things possible” etc. All are just extras and not required. Well, at least that is what Deimos thinks about those so called “new features” in Windows 7. Just “luxury” and not “necessities” so not required.

Reference to the above table, it would seems that Windows 7 does not really require a very powerful computer in order to run. However, nowadays developers tend to “lower” the hardware requirements of their software so they get to churn out more possible sales. Evil, heartless, greedy buggers.
Windows 7 and Deimos
Deimos is still using Windows XP SP3 and it would probably be quite some time before Deimos decides to switch to Windows 7 for good.

Deimos will not switch to Windows 7 unless there is no other choice remaining. No other choice as in meaning when all newly released PC Games require Windows 7 to run.

I haven’t tried Windows7 yet but I am sure I am not switching for Vista.
it is resource hogging and expect the same for Windows7 XPSP3 is my all time favorite i will stick to XP as long as I can.

Now if i had to choose between windows, Linux and Macintosh, i would definitely choose Macintosh. Deimos, you should really try it.

I’m currently using XP sp 3 on a desktop, and love it’s simplicity, but about a year ago I bought a laptop and it had Vista. at first i was excited to use the new operating system, but I soon found I hated it.
Luckly for me I was able to get a free beta version of Windows 7 (yes, I did it legally). While it’s nothing super special and in some regards not as good as XP but it much better than Vista from what I’ve seen.
To be honest I like 7 and XP and have had little problems with either for what I do on my Computers.

Well i use Professional on windows 7 and sort of regretted it… maybe i will just buy another hard disk and install ultimate on it…
well i use the OEM version because the price of ultimate is the same as the upgrade version of home premium. but i didnt have enough cash to go for the best
i chose the 64 bit thinking that i probably wouldnt have a 16 bit program in my arsenal… found one… something that i have been using since windows 98 but ah well… i have to move on… at least i still have XP SP3 on one of my hard disk so i still can refresh on those memories
i still like xp the most but… i wasnt able to find a 64 bit version of XP and i like to multitask a lot so the limit was too much…
at least with the upgrade i was able buy 6GB of RAM to pair with my core i7 920…
i think it is only good for buying windows 7 if:
you have the money ( i did almost )
