Overview
Do you like to guess color combinations? That is what you do in The Mastermind Game, this flash game version is no different than its table top counterpart.

Download The Mastermind Game (File Size ~ 1.96 MB)
Download the ZIP archive: the-mastermind-game.zip

The Mastermind Game – Title Menu

On Hard difficulty, you only have 25 seconds per turn to make your guesses. The “More Games” button will not work if you are playing it offline via a downloaded swf file.

The Mastermind Game – How to Play

Same rules from its table top counterpart is applied in the flash game version as well.

The Mastermind Game – Meet the Mastermind

This is the guy that you will be battling against with. There are no sub titles so you need to turn on your speakers to hear what he is saying.

The Mastermind Game – Start guessing!

Click the oval shaped circle, then click a color. Put in 4 colors then click the “CHECK” button.

The Mastermind Game – You got 1 correct color and position!

Refer to your past guesses on the lower right corner and make your next guesses.

The Mastermind Game – All Yellow?

From the past color guesses, we know that there is 1 of each red, green and blue.

The Mastermind Game – 4 correct colors, 3 wrong positions

Almost there now, all colors correct, but 3 colors have the wrong positions.

The Mastermind Game – You Beat the Mastermind!

Eat that! Beat him in 7 turns! Perhaps the time taken would have been lesser if Deimos did not spend time to capture some screen shots for this post.

Deimos’s Thoughts
Nice flash game for Mastermind fans. Decent graphics, clean interface. Not sure about the music and sound effects though as Deimos did not turn on the speakers.

Rather childish isn’t it. Very simple. If it is made to go faster perhaps a little more interesting!
