Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Summary
In short, deprive Baron Brixius of Focus and he will kill himself. Make sure you manage to keep your team alive and kicking before Baron Brixius kicks the bucket.
Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Skills Preparation – Biological
If you are playing Biological Sonny, make sure you get Disrupt. No need to max it (2/2), one single point (1/2) would suffice, though it would certainly be much easier if you have maxed it (2/2) since you can destroy 100 Focus in one attack.
Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Skills Preparation – Hydraulic
Seems like there does not seem to be any good methods for the Hydraulic Sonny to deprive Baron Brixius of Focus. Perhaps the Hydraulic Sonny does not need to rely on this method?
Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Skills Preparation – Psychological
Psychological Sonny can use Traumatize to drain Baron Brixius’s Focus, but it also makes him receive 50% less damage, bummer.
Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Skills Preparation – Psychological
Perhaps it would be nice to add in Haunt as well, seems like Biological Sonny has the easiest time against Baron Brixius as a maxed Disrupt (2/2) can remove 100 Focus in one attack.

Psychological Sonny players can try the above skill set to battle Baron Brixius.
Sonny 2 – Baron Brixius – Focus Deprivation
Baron Brixius will inflict a condition called “Deep Burning” onto himself which will damage himself while he attempts to recover Focus. Wait until the condition “Deep Burning” ends before reducing Baron Brixius’s Focus to 0/100 again. A few more rounds of “Deep Burning” and Baron Brixius will kill himself.

Baron Brixius is very easy to beat after you realize that he will kill himself when deprived of Focus. Just keep your team alive while Baron Brixius kills himself due to Focus deprivation.

Baron Brixius is not easy for a hydraulic, as it’s very hard to drain his focus. However, if you have good armor and weapons, plus some decent levels/stats, and are invested impair, bloodshed, and decimate, he is not very hard. You will need some spells to heal yourself, so (if you can) upgrade reconstruct to its top tier (70% health, 2 turn knockout) and upgrade restore to top tier (to get focus back.)
Then, basically keep hitting brixius, you will actually do some damage even though it will take a while, and he’ll still do his focus restoration thing when he runs out, just keep trying!

My line up is pure damage
Why deprive when you can destroy?
Put Ver in heal mode, Roald in relentless, and use your forms, Predator and Toxicant.
Roald will occasionally Shell Shock, more often hell do the +damage move, which stacks w/ Wound, Predator Form is just.. Devastating. recover 100 focus each turn for 4 turns, Toxicant heals like mad.

hey, i beat him as a hidraulic lvl 16 full instinct, and its pretty easy (if you dont count the 12 times i need to fight him before try this skills) only need lvl 4 flash freeze 2 times on the bar, lvl 4 mind freeze 2 times on the bar, lvl 5 cristal ice, and 2 of a) hipotermia lvl 4 (most of all for the speed debuff, but the damage is always welcome) b)vascular arrest lvl 4 (lvl 4 debuff 60% of healing :P) or c)frost lvl 4 (little more speed debuff, but still i prefer the damage from hipotermia) all you have to do is stun, hit, stun, hit, silence, hit, hit, stun, hit etc… when he is silenced and hits you, put vera on palanx and you have all the healing you need… well i beat him at challengin, and with the miss thing in heroic this need one more thing, for the tic tac put two ice walls on your bar, so when he cast tic tac you cast ice wall, lost the 5% instead and vera heals you a lot more 😛 (phalanx on him)

Hydrolic is the easiest, the guy above didn’t do it that well though. I beat him at lvl 11. All you need is 1 flash freeze and 2 mind freeze on your bar (level 1). The rest I had 4/4 demolish, 2/3 reg, rest of the tree where demo is at 1. Nothing else
use mind freeze, wait 3 turns, use mind freeze, 3 turn, flash freeze, 2 turns, mind freeze… etc… never gets to cast anything. DPS between rounds. Bio is the easiest because he kill himself, but he doesn’t damage as much as hydro. Takes longer though.
Did anyone notice the resemblance between psycho class and warlocks from WoW? Dots and all. Hydro and mages? stun/freeze type shits, fire form etc..

I play hydraulic sonny and I figured something out.
Charge Mind Freeze and Flash Freeze to maximum.
If you place each of them of the bar twice, there will always be one charged. Each one prevents him from using good (or any) moves. If you do that, then put veradeux in phalanx mode, you will have a REALLY good chance of killing him. The bad news is, it takes like an hour and a half because he won’t be able to burn himself. Sorry. 🙁

The last posters have the right idea. Although Hydro lacks in ways to use up the Baron’s Focus, it is very possible to prevent him from being dangerous at all. His damage is nothing special, and Mind Freezing him prevents him from using his only really dangerous attack, AKA Tick Tock. If you can successfully disable him, Veradux can manage healing the rest of his damage, and this fight ends up pretty easy, although long and boring.
Also, I noticed he sometimes got a Holy Scars debuff that greatly augmented the damage we inflicted him, although I couldn’t figure out what triggered it. It was towards the end of the fight that I first saw it.
EDIT: Respeccing for the fight apparently made me forget about my attributes. It should probably go quicker if you don’t start with 58 points lacking from your stats.

Well, here’s another hydro strategy that works too.
Get Ice Wall and Restore, max em out. Make sure you have high strength, or “restore” is useless (it relies on strength).
Whenever Baron uses his tick-tock (DoT attack) on one of your guys or you, use Ice Wall. This will prevent any real damage, while your other ally or you can continue doing decent damage.
In the meantime, use restore whenever any of your guys get low on hp to heal them.
When you’ve got turns where you don’t need to shield or heal, you can use low focus cost attacks, like decimate, glacier, etc.
note: they also have good DoTs or debuffs
This may take a long time, but it works. I tried it at lvl 11 and beat it at my first go.

Its easy with hydraulic. The focus draining skill on lvl3 costs nothing has no cd and drains 30 focus. Just keep doing it and heal with veradux. Sonny 2 on heroic on hudralic is easy all you need is:
2x max glacier
2x 1/4 ice wall
1x max hyperthemia
max crystal ice
1x max shatter
1x max vascular arrest
1/4 cold neutrioligy
1x max guardian form
You should do it in this order:
glacier,glacier,glacier,shatter,hyperthemia.Then depending on how many buffs are on him/her that is how many glaciers you use then shatter, or if they heal alot then do vascular arrest.Every time you shatter you do hyperthemia after.
Put your attribute points in viality and instinct and balance them!

I think I was REALLY lucky. When I was fighing Baron Brixius, I died, but both of my team was still alive. (I went to the bathroom.) After, I came back, Baron Brixius was nearly dead, and my team kept healing each other, so they were at max health! use mind freeeze and flash freeze to supress ticktock, and get ronald on tatical or aggresive, while verdux on phalnax to heal
ronald will in those mode, and when you run low on focus, use vapor canon when he is disable to regain it. if you canot supress the baron, use slam for a chance at stunning him. if that does not work, in two one or two turns use your other skills to supress the baron, do this untill he runs low on hp

Guys, I just beat Baron Brixius in just under 5 minutes using the Hydraulic Sonny. How? Keep stabbing Brixius with Regulate, have that maxed and it’ll take off about 25-45 of his Focus each time. Have your team on neutral mode until one of them dies (if they do at all), then change them to defense mode so they can heal you until Brixius kills himself.
I guarantee you, this WILL work.

I found using Hydrolic Sonny was the easiest. You use regulate when you are draining focus. Also, Hydrolic has flash freeze. This skill is EXTREMELY useful because it enables you to stun the Baron when one of your allies has his fatal kill move. This stops him from attacking your dying friend, and, more importantly, prevents him from using the skill against another one of your allies.

Holy scars randomly shows up after a large number of turns and appears to be designed as an alternative to deep burning. Therefore you can win with any class as long as you last long enough. Also there is no such thing as a perfect build make one which works for you
