After the character creation screen, one will emerge in the world of Mythos.

It appears that I am in front of some kind of Cathedral thingie, and this dude over there with an exclamation mark over his head seems to be some kind of quest offering guy. __________________________________________________________________________________

So he is, this is the quest screen decline or accept dialog thingie upon clicking the guy. __________________________________________________________________________________

The exclamation mark turns into a gray-ed out question mark after I accepted the quest. __________________________________________________________________________________

The quest log, so far there is only one quest since I have only played Mythos for a minute. __________________________________________________________________________________

A quest dialog with a NPC who have does not offers any quests (yet?) when I clicked him. __________________________________________________________________________________

So this is what the first quest giver dude has to say when I clicked him before finishing the quest. __________________________________________________________________________________

Okay, so I entered the Cathedral. Sure looks dark and creepy in here. __________________________________________________________________________________

Apparently, I fled the dark and creepy totally grue ridden dungeon like Cathedral and approached this white haired mofo with a red cross symbol above his head. Turns out he’s a healer who restores folks’ health for free! Wohoo! __________________________________________________________________________________
Deimos’s Thoughts
Mythos strongly reminds me of Hellgate : London, only after a minute of gameplay and I can spot the many similarities in terms of game play design. I have blasted up all the graphics settings to the maximum allowed, so far the graphics and frame rate appears to be quite good.

Hopefully, Mythos is not as buggy as Hellgate : London and has none of those bloody memory leaks that Hellgate : London has too much of, so I can have a good Mythos gaming experience!

I just acquired FRAPS and would capture the videos of my Mythos gaming experience using it, thus I would probably post up video logs of Mythos soon.

Mythos is still in Beta Testing
Mythos is currently in beta, hence any of the information regarding Mythos published on this site is not final and subject to change. Especially when Flagship Studios, the company who is currently developing Mythos rolls out a new patch which significantly alters much of the game play of Mythos.
