Yes, there is day and night rotation in this game. No, you do not start off with a sword as you need to find the blade and some woods to allow the blacksmith to forge you a sword.

Simple yet nice and suitable graphics. Simple controls and nice little role playing game with a classic Zelda feel to it. Players who enjoyed the original Zelda classic game might enjoy this.
