Good post. I understand what you meant by it feels like we’re going back into the dark ages. It’s more apparent ever since I came back home. So now I’m trying to do it bit by bit, even if it means giving way to that ugly piece of purple Satria on the road

Let me step onto a soapbox real quick. Cellphones, cars, TV, modern living, etc. takes interpersonal relationships away which makes people less caring and less willing to help others. But, and it’s a big but(like J. Lo), blogging creates an atmosphere where people are opening up in journal-like fashion to people they don’t know and others are reaching out to them, personalizing things again. It may be a first step towards personalizing thy neighbor even if you’ve never seen thy neighbor in person.

It does seem like things are getting darker. I think the interpersonal space between people is getting larger and more people simply “can’t be bothered to care” anymore. It’s a big problem.

I try to do good deeds and nice things. I’m not the best at it myself. But i really hope to work toward making more positive changes.
