Also, I think writing good content is necessary, but not sufficient. You must also share the value you create (i.e. the content). If the value isn't shared, there's no value coming back to the blogger. It's hard for a new blog to find readers to share value with :) I guess what I'm trying to say is, as with market supply and demand, a little publicity can't hurt - it's the only way to actually share the value (i.e. put the good content in front of people's eyes).
