So far, i have check some of the power saver (blackbox) and most of the power saver are consisting of capacitors..It wouldnt help you to reduce your actual power comsuption..It just reduce the reactive power (not charge by TNB for domestic customers) and reduce some loss in your line.As customer point of view, is not possible reduce much of ur electricity bills :-) as an electrical engineer, i would like to comment some about power saver there..

(make the meter run slower).
