First, get onto the platform where the big red button is on, then plaster a portal onto the vertical face of the wall there.

Get back to the starting point where the glowing ball launcher is located, and plaster another portal onto the vertical face of the wall there, as shown above.

Once the glowing ball has entered the portal and came out from the other, quickly hit the “R” key to close the portals to prevent the glowing ball from traveling back into where it originally came from. ________________________________________________________________________________
